1. Controller

The requirements for appointing a Data Protection Officer pursuant to Art. 37 GDPR in conjunction with § 38 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act) are not met.

2. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted by Host Europe GmbH, Friesenplatz 4, 50672 Cologne, Germany (hereinafter "Host"). The Host processes technical access data on our behalf as part of operating this website. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the Host.

When you visit our website, the web server automatically collects technical access data (so-called server log files). These include:

• IP address of the requesting device
• Date and time of access
• Name and URL of the accessed page or file
• Previously visited website (referrer), if transmitted by the browser
• Browser used, operating system and screen resolution
• Amount of data transferred and HTTP status code

Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and trouble-free operation of the website). Log files are deleted after 7 days at the latest, unless they are needed longer to investigate a security incident or to resolve errors.

This website does not process personal data via contact forms, comment functions or user accounts. No external services (e.g. Google Analytics, social media plugins or font CDNs) are integrated. The fonts used (Barlow, Barlow Condensed) are hosted locally on the server and are not loaded from external services.

3. Contact via Email or Phone

If you contact us by email or phone, the information you provide (e.g. contact details and the content of your inquiry) will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and for any follow-up questions. This data will not be shared with third parties unless this is necessary to process your inquiry.

Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to the conclusion of a contract, otherwise on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

The data will be deleted once your inquiry has been conclusively answered, unless commercial or tax law retention obligations (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO; typically 6 to 10 years) prevent deletion.

4. Your Rights

You have the following rights vis-à-vis the controller:

• Right of access to personal data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Right to erasure of your data, provided no retention obligation applies (Art. 17 GDPR)
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• Right to data portability, insofar as processing is based on consent or contract and is carried out by automated means (Art. 20 GDPR)
• Right to object to processing where there are particular personal grounds (Art. 21 GDPR)

5. Browser Storage (localStorage)

This website does not use cookies. It exclusively uses the browser's localStorage to store a single entry: whether you have already acknowledged the privacy notice (key: viso-cookie-ok). This entry contains no personal data, is not transmitted to any server, and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings.

Since this storage is strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user, it does not require consent pursuant to § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act).
